5 to 10-Session Workshop Series

Designed to help schools build meaningful, responsive family engagement through targeted education and outreach. The process begins with an initial consultation with school leadership to identify priorities, challenges, and the unique needs of your school community.

Based on this consultation, we develop a customized workshop series and provide a detailed proposal outlining session topics, goals, and outcomes. Each workshop is intentionally designed to align with your school’s vision and address the specific needs of families.

The 5 to 10-session workshop series can be offered on a weekly or bi-weekly schedule, providing flexibility to meet the needs and capacity of your school community.

To support participation and maximize impact, we provide promotional materials, including clear, engaging messaging and flyer materials, to help schools effectively communicate with families and increase engagement.

Schools may also opt for additional services, such as custom designs and creative assets that support a whole-community learning campaign. These designs help reinforce key messages, extend learning beyond the workshops, and promote a cohesive, school-wide approach to family engagement.

ESL Learning Workshop Series

In-Person

Our ESL Beginning (Level 1) classes are designed for adult learners who are new to English or have very limited experience. The focus is on building a strong foundation in everyday communication, helping students gain confidence in speaking, listening, reading, and writing.

Lessons cover practical themes such as greetings and introductions, personal information, numbers and time, shopping, food, transportation, health, and workplace basics.

Students learn essential vocabulary, simple sentence structures, and common expressions they can use in real-life situations. Activities include guided conversations, pronunciation practice, basic reading exercises, and writing simple sentences and forms.

The classes are supportive, interactive, and paced to meet the needs of beginners, creating a comfortable environment where students can practice English and develop skills for daily life.

Sample 2-Week Outline – ESL Beginning (Level 1, Adults)

Week 1: Introductions & Basic Communication

• Greetings and leave-taking
• Introducing yourself (name, country, basic personal info)
• Alphabet and spelling
• Numbers (0–20)
• Simple sentences: “I am…,” “My name is…”

Week 2: Personal Information & Daily Life

• Asking and answering simple questions (name, phone number, address)
• Days of the week and basic schedules
• Numbers (21–100)
• Talking about daily routines (basic verbs)

Art Education Workshops Series

Our Raíces Creativas workshops are designed to transform schools into vibrant cultural centers. These 5 to 10-session series engage families through hands-on art experiences rooted in the deep heritage and histories of our communities. By exploring traditional art forms - from the intricate snips of Papel Picado to the symbolic beauty of Día de los Muertos altars - we help families celebrate their roots while strengthening their connection to the school.
